Prof. Sahar Farouk El-Sadek Bader

Helwan University, Egypt

Prof. Dr. Sahar holds a Ph.D. with First-Class Honors (2000), an M.A. with Distinction (1995), and a B.A. with Honors (1988) in Journalism from Cairo University.
With over three decades of academic leadership, her career includes serving as Vice Dean for Student Affairs at Nahda University, Acting Head of Department, and Media Advisor to Helwan University. She serves on the Standing Scientific Committee for Academic Promotions (Mass Communication Sector).
Her primary research focuses on AI applications in media, digital platforms, media framing, specialized journalism, and qualitative methodologies. She holds a Diploma in AI Journalism and Metaverse Communication (Dubai) and completed advanced certifications in AI tools for scientific research. Dr. Bader has authored numerous peer-reviewed studies, chaired scientific panels, and supervised or examined dozens of M.A. and Ph.D. dissertations nationwide. She has extensive practical experience in newsroom editing, layout design, and conducting specialized training programs in digital journalism and AI tools.

Prof. Tariq Elyas

King Abdualziz University, Saudi Arabia

Prof. Tariq Elyas is a full-tenured professor of Applied Linguistics at King Abdulaziz University, KAU (Saudi Arabia). He is also a Research Fellow at Prince Sultan University (Saudi Arabia) as well as AHSS Global Research Fellow at Queen’s University (UK). He holds an MA in English Literature (USA), a PhD in Applied Linguistics (Australia), an LLM in International Law and Human Rights (UK), and a Post-Doctorate in Applied Linguistics from Newcastle University. His research papers have appeared in top-tier research journals, such as the British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies, Digest of Middle East Studies, Contemporary Review of the Middle East, Journal of Arab and Muslim Media Research, Semiotica, International Journal for Semiotics of Law, World Englishes, Asian Englishes, Journal of Psycholinguistic Research, Journal of Neurolinguistics, Cambridge Journal of Education, and ELT Journal. Prof. Elyas has been awarded the Bundey Prize for English Verse (Australia), Travel Writing Fellowship (USA), Cambridge Gulf Research Award (UK), Year-Emerald Publisher (UK), Chevening Fellowship (UK), EU-GCC Relations Project Award (Belgium), Post-doctoral Summer Research (PDSR) Program-British Council Award (UK), and Best Supervisor Award in the Humanities & Social Sciences Track-KAU in 2018 and 2020 (Saudi Arabia).

Assoc. Prof. Junsong Wang

Northwestern Polytechnical University, China

Junsong Wang is an Associate Professor and PhD Supervisor at Northwestern Polytechnical University specializing in modern translation technology, human-AI collaborative translation (HACT), and translation cognition. He has served as Principal Investigator for five national and provincial research grants, including the National Social Science Fund and the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Fund. A widely published scholar, Dr. Wang has authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious academic journals such as the Journal of China Computer-Assisted Language Learning, Journal of Foreign Languages, and Shanghai Journal of Translators. His contributions to the field have earned him multiple top-tier research awards—notably the Shaanxi Provincial Outstanding Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences—alongside one invention patent and two software copyrights.

Assoc. Prof. Wenwen Tian

Northwestern Polytechnical University, China

Dr. Wenwen Tian is Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at Northwestern Polytechnical University, China. She holds an MA and a PhD in Applied Linguistics and is professionally certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL), and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL). With over 20 years of experience in higher education, she has taught English and coordinated international affairs across China, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand, contributing to language education and international academic collaboration in diverse contexts.
Her research lies at the intersection of applied linguistics and higher education. She has published in leading international journals on doctoral academic supervision, appreciative advising, EFL teacher professional identity, language assessment literacy, and Chinese–foreign cooperative education.

Assoc. Prof. Dongmin Yang

Shaanxi Normal University, China

Dr. Dongmin Yang is an associate professor of Translation Studies and Foreign Language Education at School of International Studies, Shaanxi Normal University. He got his Ph.D degree in Translation Studies in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, and used to work as a visiting scholar in the University of Melbourne, Australia. His major research interest covers Translation Studies, Foreign Language Education, and Language Service. He has been hosting several research projects on translation history, translation accreditation tests, language policy and planning, and foreign language education at different levels and has got one academic monograph, six translated works and over 30 academic papers published in and out of China.

Assoc. Prof. Emad A. S. Abu-Ayyash

The British University in Dubai, UAE

Emad A. S. Abu-Ayyash is an associate professor of education/TESOL and head of the Masters Programme at the British University in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He achieved his Ph.D in Education/TESOL from the British University in Dubai, in 2016, his M.A. degree (Hons) in translation from Yarmouk University, Jordan in 2007 and his B.A. degree (Hons) in English literature and linguistics from Yarmouk University, Jordan in 1996. His research interests and publications include areas such as TESOL, discourse analysis, teaching and learning, translation, assessment, and online education. Throughout his career, he provided training for hundreds of teachers on teaching methods and curriculum design. He participated in several local and international conferences in education.

Assoc. Prof. Mirela Müller

University of Split, Croatia

Dr. Mirela Müller is an Associate Professor at the Department of German Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, Croatia. She teaches courses in foreign language teaching methodology, didactics of literature, models of speaking production, and media in German language teaching, and serves as Head of the Chair for Literature and Media.
She holds a double-major degree in Pedagogy and German Language and Literature from the University of Zadar and a PhD from the University of Zagreb, with a dissertation on media as carriers of symbolic messages in education. Her research lies at the intersection of education and philology, with a focus on the didactics of German as a foreign language, foreign language teaching methodology, literature didactics, and media and multimedia education.
She has published in national and international journals and conference proceedings, including works indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, and has presented at numerous international conferences. She has also been a guest lecturer at universities abroad, taught in doctoral programmes, mentored doctoral students, and been active in editorial work and peer review. Her current research interests include multilingualism in foreign language teaching.

Lecturer Harmandeep Kaur

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China

Lecturer Harmandeep Kaur serves as a Special Education Needs Advisor at a shadow institute in Hong Kong, and a Visiting Lecturer of Academic Writing and Professional Communication at the College of Professional and Continuing Education, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University — her alma mater.
Her research examines researchers' engagement in questionable research practices, impact of AI in education and academia, and experiences of youth and immigrant workers in the informal neoliberal labour market. Her recent (and first) publications have appeared in Q1 journals including Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, and Applied Linguistics Review.
Lately, she has been indulged in the conceptual dichotomy of AI amongst subject experts and general public, and the evolving defines of intelligence. A paper may bear out of this indulgence in the months to come.
